The palace is surrounded by an extensive landscape park, which is one of the most important garden monuments in Austria with its valuable tree population, historic roses and fruit tree varieties.

To mark its 400th anniversary, Eggenberg Palace will be transformed into the venue for the STEIERMARK SCHAU in 2025.

Under the title “Ambition & Illusion. Schloss Eggenberg: Staging the World”, the Planetary Hall and State Rooms will be presented this year as unique exhibition spaces that you can experience individually.
