Destillerie Franz Stelzl vlg. Milhalm

In the local chronicles of St. Johann im Saggautal in southern Styria, the Stelzl family’s current estate is mentioned in documents as early as the 17th century. Since 1842, the family – now in its 6th generation – has been involved in the production of spirits. The outstanding quality of the fine brandies made from sun-ripened fruit from the region, produced according to an old traditional recipe in a state-of-the-art distillery, is held in high regard by connoisseurs and enthusiasts. Franz Stelzl’s fine spirits are characterized by their elegant finesse and always attract great attention at competitions and tastings – as many awards and international prizes prove.

The Feindestillerie Stelzl, vlg. Milhalm, has its own spring. This has been in the family for generations and has its source deep in a mountain. This special water gives the brandies, liqueurs and spirits their unique character, which is why it is guarded like a treasure
