Time out at the farm! In the middle of the Pöllau Valley Nature Park, the Postl family warmly welcomes you to their Hirschbirnhof. We are in the lucky position to be able to offer our guests a “biodiverse nature park jewel” with scattered fruit meadows, herb garden… right around our farm. Enjoy the wonderful landscape and the variety of home-grown products at the breakfast buffet: jams, fresh vegetables, homemade smoked meat or a fragrant Gugelhupf … A playground, petting animals, herb walks, balloon rides… make your time out at the farm an experience! Relax and recharge your batteries – enjoy the little things in life Who doesn’t dream of a summer retreat or a winter holiday from which you return home completely refreshed, healthier and more vital? With us at the Hirschbirnhof you can simply leave hectic, stress and everyday life behind you and treat yourself to a time-out just the way you like it. If you are looking for hustle and bustle and noise, you will certainly not find it here. But for a change you can let off steam in the surrounding area and then return to the Pöllau Valley Nature Park. The Hirschbirnhof – our farm is located at 400m above sea level and is the starting point for numerous hiking and biking trails. If you want to go high up, hike to the Masenberg in the north, for the more leisurely the Schönauklamm (nature park jewel) is just right. With us you find innumerable possibilities at sporty activities, nature, culture and customs up to the restful lazing. Nordic walking with hostess Monika or stalking through forest and meadow with herb fairy Manuela is truly a small adventure. On the spacious lawn you can enjoy the silence of our garden, let your eyes wander into the distance and doze in the sun. From March to October you can visit over 240 destinations free of charge with the Genuss Card! Or simply relax, eat and drink well at our surrounding restaurants and wine taverns.
