This is followed by the tour of the extensive museum exhibition with about 130 photographs and texts in 6 TV stations, about 60 music groups and instruments sound examples via headphones or speakers, including the replica music band from 1895. All image and sound presentations can be selected by the visitor / the visitor by pressing a button.

Of the entire museum instrument collection, around 70 musical instruments are on display in the showcases, including rarities from the brass and woodwind genres from around 1820 onwards, including rare exhibits such as an ophicleide, the Aida trumpet and the Kuhlo horn. The museum’s collection of sheet music consists mainly of manuscripts from 1829 onwards, and includes some 800 music pieces with around 8,000 individual parts, some of which can be seen in a display case. Life-size musician figures in the costumes or uniforms of the musicians, as they moved out in the past 100 years to performances, meet the visitor.
