The Pfeifer winery and guesthouse in picturesque St. Anna am Aigen is located in the heart of Styria’s volcanic region.

Here – right on the Wine Trail of the Senses – holidaymakers can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the Pfeifer family’s guest house and enjoy the beautiful moments of life with a glass of wine while taking in the magnificent view over the volcanic region.

Daniel Pfeifer has taken over the management of the family business from his parents. He runs the winery with great passion.

His motto: “Real development succeeds when you let things be. That’s why I produce our wines as close to nature as possible: without herbicides, hand-picked and with a special focus on the terroir and sustainability.”

The Ried Schemming, the winery’s top site, rises like a limestone island from the volcanic sea. From playful regional wines and local wines full of character to the deep, mineral wines of Ried Schemming – all bear the unique signature of Daniel Pfeifer and the St. Anna terroir.
