Frauenberg Temple Museum
The Temple Museum is built on the ruins of a Roman temple in the centre of the municipium of Flavia Solva’s cult district. As far back as the Celtic times the mountain top here was of national importance as a sacrificial site. Finds dating from the Stone Age to late Antiquity give insights into 70 years of excavation history and bring 6,500 years of settlement on the Frauenberg vividly to life. There’s an extensive outdoor area with a herb garden and panoramic views.
